We haven’t forgotten about the recent Full Tilt Poker events, and today latest poker news bring you a small update. Since we last spoke of the subject, Full Tilt Poker hasn’t been the center of attention with any new scandals, just a small twist on the existing one.

A group of Full Tilt Poker players have initiated a class action complaint against the site, demanding they be paid the $150 million that the company owes them. The lawsuit has Full Tilt Poker on one side, and nine corporate entities and fifteen people (some of whom have opted to remain anonymous) as the plaintiffs. We’re sure that this does nothing but add more pressure to the boiling pot that is FTP right now, and they were already trying to figure out ways through which they could repay users.

Yesterday, an alleged Full Tilt Poker employee initiated a Q&A session on the Two Plus Two forums, which sparked quite a bit of controversy. Many doubted the claims of the anonymous poster, despite his best efforts to prove his authenticity without fully disclosing his identity. Even though his answers were a bit vague, they help paint a picture of what’s going on inside Full Tilt Poker right now. Here are just a few of his answers:

- When asked about the European investment deal, he confirmed it to be entirely true. Also, with this deal under way he said he expects the players to collect their money very soon.
- “How soon can we expect FTP to come back, if ever?” – to this question, the employee simply answered that he’d be amazed if this didn’t happen in a couple of days, certainly this week. In another post he stated that they will not operate without a license (a posssibility we too have eliminated http://www.latestpokernews.net/24-hours-later-full-tilt-poker-still-down/, mainly because Visa, MasterCard or MoneyBookers will simply back out).
- One burning question that was settled was if the employees are still getting paid. They do, in full. However, the staff are being held in the dark, with no announcements whatsoever. It’s to be expected – in such a time of crysis, the priority has to be the well being of the company.
- Apparently, the news of the license being suspended came as a shock to FTP, as well. If they had had enough time to prepare, “they would have had everything moved over to Khanawake by the time the Alderney license was pulled”.
- When asked if he had seen any sign of cheating, the employee firmly denies this. All employees are banned from playing the game, and he hasn’t seen anything suspicious going on.

These are the main highlights of the Q&A session. They paint a picture of a company in distress, but one that tries its best to keep going and stay afloat.
